How fitting that the arches installed for one 50th birthday celebration get removed for another 50th birthday celebration.

The arches will not at all be missed.

They were so incredibly tacky.

I'm in the minority, but I actually liked them. I thought they added some pizzaz to an otherwise bland looking stage. Now, if there were no stage, I'd obviously be fine without the arches.

Also, I'd take those arches any day over the Mickey one seen here during and around the 25th anniversary.
