I've seen people make comments around this July 2 EMH at AK, like "Seeing Pandora at night makes this so worth it!!!". *checks sunset times in Orlando in early July*

I really hope WDW parks extend their hours to provide more value to their guests.

Often hours are extended nearer to the dates, especially around holidays. No guarantees, of course.
MK should be at least 11pm This Summer!!!......

Because of EPIC there is a possibility WDW may extend hours. The cast members are already there so it costs them a little more, but the return in guest satisfaction I suspect is high.

There's no reason why Magic Kingdom should close before midnight during the summer and non party nights during the holidays. Even Epcot...
I agree but MK hasn't confirmed their Summer Schedule yet....Rollseyes!.........

Depends on POV. On one hand, extending hours could deter folks from doing US and do WDW instead. However on the other hand, if the hit to attendance is greater than Disney is thinking then there's no reason to burn more cash keeping parks open longer.

I think Disney extending hours may happen to deter folks from doing US. If it doesn’t work they would rapidly cut hours back.
The reality will probably be business as usual at WDW and they would take a minor attendance hit.
The attendance stat is cool, but what I think they really care about is per capita spending at the parks and now with LLs and price increases, they will see spending increase.
I don't know about the general public, but if all things were equal, I'd rather go to the park which had more night-hours in the middle of the Summer.
