I'll just say that your and their willingness to work on days like today, and a long shift like a 12, is very much appreciated. Even though I'm not there, I can only imagine how difficult days like these can be on CM's, so consider this a little recognition from us in the peanut gallery being tossed their way.

Isn’t next weekend marathon weekend?
Guess what's happening as we speak? Yup, you guessed it: the post-firework traffic jams.
It's not "willingness" it's your boss/ scheduler saying that you're working that day and those hours and you come in.
When I was there full timers might get paid time and half for holiday pay. But part timers and seasonals wouldn't get it, even though their shifts would be just as long. Don't know if that's changed or not.
That happens the world over so nothing exceptional at all or peculiar to Disney.
Wow. Are they giving away free DVC memberships or something? This was 12:30 this morning
Friday morning FoP made it up to 315 when I checked around 9:30am or so!If you think four and a half hours is when most people give up, many opening days have had wait times of 300 minutes or more for whatever the newest ride is. And even worse, at Tokyo Disneyland, the opening day for Toy Story Mania had a six and a half hour wait. No, I'm not kidding.
No. Uh uh. NOPE.This was 12:30 this morning
I'll never complain about having to wait 20 minutes for the express monorail again. This was 12:30 this morning
Well if we’re being honest it looks virtually identical from that angle every night of the year immediately following happily ever after.No. Uh uh. NOPE.
Seriously. That's ridiculous.
True... If it were a different time it wouldn't look quite as bad. Still...Well if we’re being honest it looks virtually identical from that angle every night of the year immediately following happily ever after.
