That's actually not a horrible price all things considered.

I've priced out various safaris and while it's at the upper end, I've seen less for more.

I am not reading where Joe himself is the tour guide. He's there to talk about locations and other inspirations for the park design and hold a drawing session or two.

The tour guide that you spend the most time with will most likely be a minimum wage cast member. Although, I do believe there will be a number of people who put this on their bucket list simply because they think they'll have much more contact with him and think they can get Disney to take their opinions by doing so.

Joe travels to Africa all the time. They are giving each guest sketchbooks as well and I am sure Joe will be doing some sketches. If I had disposable income to travel as much as I wanted I would do this trip.
