I don't think many of the rooms will have a view of the show building. Only those on the far left side of the back side of the hotel.

For the right kind of person, that might be a benefit if they're interested in getting a peek behind how everything operates. I imagine more landscaping will go into that strip of land to attempt to make the view a bit nicer.

Aren't the views from the entire back side of the hotel going to be pretty awful? I don't think a partial show building is a major concern when the overall view is basically a retention pond, parking deck, roads, and urban sprawl.
The Views may not be pleasing but UOR really doesn't hide itself from Orlando either.....

You'll probably be able to see the Orlando Eye and all the flashing lights of I-Drive and Fun Spot. As someone who likes the kitsch, I would personally enjoy a view like that.

It does try though.

VB is right next to I4 and does a decent job at hiding it from within the park. They also built lush gardens/thick jungles in certain areas to block the surrounding area. Their available size makes it difficult to hide things completely.

I do wish they added some more natural-looking water features throughout the Epic campus versus standard retention ponds.

Yes because as we all know people on this board love looking at the back of show buildings😉

Obviously it's not their first use of fire, but it's the first time they've had a large, flaming object hanging above a building like this.
It’s not really any different. You use non-combustible materials in the correct assemblies. You provide sensors, alarms, and extinguishing systems. It’s not in an enclosed space which makes some things easier. Revenge of the Mummy is pumping gas into a room and then igniting it. If too much gas built up that’d be a big problem.
