PS I'm always coming off terribly curmudgeonly sounding regarding Uni, but I am incredibly looking forward to experiencing Epic.



So... I'm timing a max theoretical capacity on Donkey Kong of 800pp/h. There also seem to be infrequent vehicle gaps, which is disturbing. Just to point out this attraction is not operationally thought through.

I might blame Nintendo on this one. Whom I adore and think the attraction is going to be quirky AND super fun AND actually fully capture the spirit of what its trying to recreate... AND have scary nightmare lines.

Do you think Uni might toy with a.... -gulp- Virtual Queue for DK?

Doubtful. They realized they don’t work which is why they stopped doing them.

With so many attractions, it will be hard to decide what to prioritize with my one day in this park. If DK is unreliable and gets huge waits, I doubt I’d prioritize it when exploring a brand new park. If I get 12 hours in this park, I’m not wasting 2 hours on DK even if it is pretty cool.

I suspect I’d prefer a re-ride on the new Potter ride or Monsters Unchained. Those look spectacular.

DK is way down on the list of what I want to experience on Day 1. Monsters and Potter are at the top.

Not much of a gamer, but I did play Mario 64 and Mario Odyssey with my kids, but DK was not something I played.

I am pretty sure I will be visiting Epic Universe next fall. (Still working out my plans) I am already seeing it will be hard to prioritize which "land" to hit first and which might be able to be passed on.

For that exact reason I am planning to do 2, even if I have to pay extra for that 2nd day (still cheaper than Express probably)

DK and others will have single rider lines and I will take advantage of every one of them
