Make it Bambi themed.

Just don’t put venison on the menu. :hilarious:

I assume they work-shopped Bambi’s bounty and Pocahontas’ pilgrimage.

I don’t mind this, I had to look up who Evangeline even was. Betrays my lack of familiarity. This strikes me as Citrico’s like in terms of IP. Which is frankly about as tasteful and restrained we can expect out of the company these days.

It sounds like a nice restaraunt and not merely a character venue, not that there is something wrong with those. Toppolino’s threads it well.

I wonder if this is a franchise?
The name is in use by a really good cajun restaurant in New Orleans so maybe this info is incorrect?

Anyone have any information on how they plan to create guest access to this property for buses and vehicles?
I don't know for sure, but from what I've seen, it appears they will be using the existing West Wilderness Rd (to be renamed West Wilderness Way, I guess?). It may need some work to accommodate an entire resort's worth of additional vehicle traffic.

Hopefully this gives some idea. Obviously all the existing roads and parking lots to the west of Pioneer Hall will be removed. Bus entry will be in the upper right corner.

A shot of the area currently. You can see the retention pond and road going to the east:

I assumed they would at least partially use that road. I’m just curious how they will handle the wilderness lodge end and how it will impact the marquee and guard booth area over there.

I just do not understand the person who would go to Disney World, decide to spend huge amounts of money to stay at a Disney hotel, and then… choose this one. Do you just hope the kids don’t notice any of the more interesting hotels? Is this just for brand loyalists who don’t like Disney that much?

Well I guess that depends on what you expect from a Disney hotel. While to me resorts like Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and Port Orleans are the epitome of Disney resorts. Many will find this much more “Disney”…. Unfortunately.

Is there confirmed concept art for the newer version? Everything I see in Google Images is for Reflections. So maybe they’ll surprise us?

Also, if the pool area is all it’s rumored to be, I think that combined with location will be a huge selling point for families. Kids forget about everything else when they see a pool.
