Ft.wilderness closure

Given its money making abilities, I would bet that Disney would be prepared to pay whatever it takes to get the place back running.
Our plaid on the Keys of Kingdom tour said the same thing today. He said there was NO chance of a permanent closure.

The manager at Coronado also said that there was cabin damage.

We were supposed to stay there 9th - 19th so we have been dealing with this all week.

You can judge the trustworthiness of the sources for yourself.

Maybe I should leave this forum I joined to share the common interest in the parks and it seems like every time I share some info I get slammed. I think my problem is I try to give a heads up and someone who lives 1000 mi. away is an expert. Very irritating, I don't make this stuff up I see it everyday. They have forums for CM's I'll stay there .
That seems like a really good idea.

DVC Resorts may be very lucrative but Fort Wilderness is literally selling 30 x 30 foot pads of dirt. Seriously. Dirt to pitch own tent on... dirt to park your own camper on... Just dirt! Maybe one day they will make the Wilderness homes a DVC feature but they will always have the campground.
Imagine the efficiency of maintenance fees collected to maintain said dirt.
