Annual Passholder dining discount increased at several restaurants through the summer

I can confirm both: my question early on this discount and this new information. We just did Jiko this past Friday and received 30% off food and alcohol
We did not need to use TIW or split the check (one check food at 30% and one check alcohol 20%.) And they added the 18% gratuity automatically, though we added a lot to that because of fabulous service at Jiko.

I guess they are only targeting the resort restaurants whose Dis Dining resies are languishing.
I'm seeing 2nd tier sit-down restaurants vs the well known at same resort location (Wave), and distant/outlier locations (WL, AKL, SS) that made the list.
Maybe WDW's push for more on property dining is finally reaching a prelim over-saturation stage, or pricing & low attendance is taking its toll.
