But you're claiming to be the sole arbiter of facts, without any evidence yourself! It's your opinion that this person's feelings are gullible. It's also your opinion that the intention of these reports are merely vengeful attacks.

I think it's entirely plausible that the internal politics at Lucasfilm have gotten very nasty, I even think it's plausible that certain decisions may have been "hidden" or conveniently omitted from reports for longer than they were supposed to. While I certainly don't find it plausible that this whole Luke-Mandalorian scenario played out exactly as described but when it comes to these sort of internal corporate power struggles, the industry press tends toward hyperbole and exaggeration.

But again, that's my opinion
Good day.

You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Opening day Luke was Mark Hamill’s twin compared to this guy. Lol

I present to you the Tobey Maguires younger brother version of Luke:

This is always going to be the issue when you take a real actor / character, and try to make them a park character… especially someone as unique as Mark Hamill.

The animated face characters have a lot more leeway.

What the actual HELL is that?!?

Right. And I saw this coming from a mile away. It’s why I’ve always said be careful what you wish for with Luke, Han and Leia. Vader, Yoda etc sure bring them on. With that said, most of the Rey’s I’ve seen were solid. Maybe it’s just that Luke is much more of an iconic character so we have higher standards. That’s part of it but the casting has been just objectively bad. Especially the one I shared today.

I’ve seen some Rey’s that weren’t as great as others, but I think the styling, and hair, go a long way to help them all blend well.

I think she’s an easier character to get right?

Honestly, I think it’s just harder in general for “male” roles, that are very realistic looking. You know?

Captain Jack is easy, because of the makeup, costume, facial hair, etc.

Luke is really just a dude…

Yeah true and without R2D2 he may as well not even be out there at all. R2D2 is Luke’s makeup.
