if we change the ceiling lights to purple-ish blue, everyone will think it is suddenly "wellDone"....
It is still a high school Cafetorium but now it a temporary exhibit and the programmed the lights in a different color... Having an exhibit helps the overall...but they have to have many exhibits lined up, all beautifully designed... or actually put ion a finished interior that is beautiful and doesn't reek of "Flex Space"...

But it is a flex space. It's always been designed as a flex space. Even when the plans were for a multi-storey building, there was a flex space designed. This is just the first time they've used the flex space known as CommuniCore Hall well for a festival and they need to do the same level of exhibit for every festival

Well it kinda was? I mean I don’t like the end product either but figment was at least fully operating meanwhile the entire center of the park was not aging well to put it nicely
Figment hasn’t had a problem with not aging well because it was never well to begin with. They spent millions of dollars on a project that was never intended to meet the actual needs of the space. It was a half baked vanity project that naturally turned into a boondoggle.

This is always such an insane argument to me because the few facilities that were closed prior to the plaza rehab were only closed in preparation for the plaza rehab. They took Innoventions West down because that was the building that was going to need the most work, then their plans were put on ice after the building was closed. Innoventions East was allowed to wither away because they knew work to close the entire complex would be happening imminently. All in all it was three years of Innoventions operating maybe half the exhibits it used to. I don't think there was anything in the plaza at any point in its last decade of operation that felt worse off than Figment. Maybe Pin Central and Electric Umbrella.

Oh no I’m not defending how it turned out I’m just saying if I was Disney in 2016 or so and I had chose between redoing the spine or fixing figment i would choose fix the middle hot take maybe but I think figment as it is isn’t that bad not as good the original looked online ( I’ve never experienced it myself) but still better then the decaying thing that was there before

You clearly missed what was just explained to you. The area was allowed to deteriorate as a pretext nor was the plan ever actually going to fix anything. Iger wanted to tell people he hired Elizabeth Diller to design a building, not that he solved some guest experience problem.

I’m sorry I was writing that out before the above was posted but regardless I stand by what I said both Eisners and igers middle were not what Epcot needed with the exception of club cool it was going to need to be fixed anyway also who’s Elizabeth diller?

If they kept the upper part where Epcot Character Spot, Fountainview and the Hallway It would have been fine and kept the Journey of water where it is..Change all lighting in the area to LED's and Sync to the SSE shows along with a new light package that was inside the Fountain of Nations for brighter visuals..

I'm still disappointed they haven't used this segment from Splashtacular for the Beacon of Magic show on SSE during The Arts Festival and a good nod to the former show..
