I liked it in 2002...but I also liked Attack of the Clones (sort of) back in 2002...The film is the best part of the exhibit.

So, it seems to me that the reason why they are using the OMD theater is that the other theater options might have things going on in the same timeframe:
1. Eo might be getting a Star Wars preview
2. Sounds Dangerous will be getting some sort of Star Wars clip show as part of Seasons of the Force
3. The Flex theater might be home to the comedy Warehouse
That still leaves the Premiere theater, but is that being closed/demolished sooner rather than later? Plus, I'm not sure it is set up for a film.
I'll tell you a great place for a preview for this film... the Universe of Energy pavilion! Simply put whatever clips they need in the film-portions, then have guests ride through the dino scene, then add a clip of how it was made and the challenges it took to create the film.. Then make a good ending! Voila! That will be the ONLY way Disney will get me to go to a movie preview while I'm at the parks!!
What? Seriously, it is a 35mm projection, not a video presentation. Please tell me they're updating the film to make it digital. It's a VHS tape currently. No joke.
Unfortunately, the numbers for guests that actually stay to watch the Walt film are abysmal.Im sorry it's just surprising that they would replace the Walt film with a 2 minute trailer.

You said " Did they not close One Man's Dream? Closed is pretty idle to me." They did not close it. That's what @marni1971 was responding to. I leave the speculation about future closings to others, but we'll put you down for "It's closing by October 19."
You know... I was sad to hear One Man's Dream was leaving. But I understood it because I know a lot of changes are coming to this park and things need to be moved around, demolished, redone... But turned into a preview theater? .... That's a tragedy...
They replaced his office with a map.
