Pizzafari at Disney's Animal Kingdom to discontinue breakfast service later this month

That's really too bad. We're not big QS people, but we had breakfast Pizzafari a few years ago and it was pretty good. It was also a lifesaver since my younger one was starving.

Of course, I think we were only 1 of 3 groups in there dining. So, if that's how it normally is, it's clearly not enough to justify the cost of continuing breakfast service.

Boo -- its the only place in any of the parks that actually serves a full breakfast unless you go to those character breakfasts...and it was the only place ANYWHERE that served cheesy potato souffle....I will seriously miss this -- the other breakfast places serve nothing but coffee and danish stuff....

Sunshine Seasons has breakfast, but yes. It's a shame for DAK. Starbucks breakfast is not equivalent even though Disney seems to think it is.

This stinks! Starbucks is the last place we want to go for anything. What the heck kind of deal did Starbucks strike with Disney to ruin Main Street Bakery, now close Pizzafari for breakfast and monopolize WDW with the same stuff I can get a couple blocks from home? I guess we'll be going to Rain Forest. We like to have someplace to sit not grab and go. Ugh

That's too bad. We looked forward to having breakfast at Pizzafari at least once every trip.

But as others have said, the place never seemed to be busy during breakfast, so I sort of understand.

Still, it's sad that now there's just Sunshine Seasons left serving a real breakfast without the requirement for an ADR and tolerance for characters and the attendant chaos.

Ah, well. We'll just eat another breakfast in our room and Disney won't get any money for it.

Pop Century has a potato and cheese cassarole. Is that what you are referring to? It's basically hash brown potatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
