9 Days until we leave - not going to make it!

My wife and I leave August 5th for WDW. We are staying for a week at POFQ. We were originally going to stay at All-Star Sports, but, decided to spend the extra dollars for French Quarter (which we love).

I am not looking for sympathy, but, have to admit that the frustration of waiting for August 5th to arrive is killing me. How come the week before we leave will feel like a year and the week we are at WDW will feel like a second? :hammer:

What tips do you have to get through the next week without going insane?

HA - I know how you feel!

I've got 36 days to go, and I keep thinking, I've got 4 times as many days to go as days I'm gonna be there.

But hey, just keep coming on here, get psyched, and go have a blast. Then, make plans to go back as soon as you can.

It's the only known cure for Post Disney Depression.

Planning always helps. Maybe talking with whoever you are going with, which rides you want to go on first, where are looking forward to dining while you are there. I heard about the Travel Special which will be something else to look forward to. I like to do a countdown but that could make it worse. For instance, I have 32 days to go. Ahhh!!! At least I am lucky enough to go, that's how I view it :)

I feel your pain. We're going in 23 days, 17 hours, 20 minutes and 54 seconds and it's driving me crazy. We have certain rituals we perform to make the time go. Three weeks to the day before we leave, we take out our suitcases. This way, we get to stare at them for 3 weeks and it reminds us how close we are. We also start to make out our packing lists, do our last-minute shopping and stay close to the Disney fan web sites to alleviate the suffering.
We're taking out our suitcases this Friday. I can't take it anymore. :hammer:

52 days for me.... but I think I have found a way to help me make it.

I am relocating with my job from Montreal to Toronto...

by the time we find a place, get the movers out etc...

I am sure WDW will be here before I know it!

I know how you feel! we leave on august 14 and all i can think about is dropping on the tower of terror and guessing what ghost is riding with me on haunted mansion. and this site doesn't help much either because the less i think about disney, the faster time to leave gets here but i find it hard to stay off of this site so i guess i'm screwed :lookaroun
