not accepting the dining plan surely wasn't helping it at all.

if its not on MDE, and the Dining plan, some may not know it exists

a fp for philharmagic.. REALLY? what a waste that would be, decent show, but never really has a long wait whever I've been.

hopefully they'd try changig the menu up before flat out changing it to something else

how much does the building block the view? i was sad to see where they built it, seemed like a really stupid location

The biggest joke of FP+ resides at HS. A FP+ for Muppets - while I love the show that is a tragic lol. I used to think Spaceship was a joke but now waits can be 20 or more minutes even during a slow time whereas it used to always be walkon. Even GMR that used to have decent waits (maybe 20 minutes) I was shocked to see a 60 minute wait last week. Its the first time ever I did not ride this attraction.

When I said "we" I didn't mean every single other person here. I'm sure there are plenty of people who didn't have any interest in the food. If however they add reservations and add this restaurant to DDP and the popularity picks up it will prove your theory wrong. I guess time will tell.
There is a problem with that because you have wait long term to find out. It might gain popularity in the short term, but not in the long term.

You also are dealing with the fact people do get desperate for picking a table service since some table service places at WDW are very popular or can't get the time they want.

Right. That's my point. You are saying the place wasn't popular because people don't like/want Moroccan food. If the food is still the same but the popularity increases after adding reservations then it's logical to assume that it was the lack of reservations and not the food that was holding it back. If the place is still empty then it's probably just a lack of interest in the food. Give it 6 months or so and we'll have a pretty good idea. Actually, Disney will know sooner since ADRs become available at 6 months out.

Yeah, I think that would change things significantly.

A couple years ago TRex was not on the dining plan but you could get reservations for it through the Disney system. We used to not have any problems doing this and availability was plenty. Once they started accepting the plan, it has become very difficult to get a reservation there, even with the horrible reviews the place gets.

T-Rex, Planet Hollywood, and Rainforest have taken the DDP since at least 2011, this I know for certain.
