I planned on going after work tonight for some photos, but I get off at 8pm and they close at 8.

Seems super early if they want to have a nighttime light show even if the sun is set by 6/630 since the time change.

Go when there is EMH until 10pm. You may think, "But I'm not staying at a resort!" True, you couldn't ride rides past 8. But you're just hanging out looking at the lights.
