Winter Summerland mini golf summer course closing for a series of refurbishments in July

I wonder if Olaf will be integrated here. It sure would make sense to me, especially on the summer side.

Hah! That would be perfect :)

ETA: if that's the case, it would explain why they would be closing down a mini golf attraction during the busy summer season. One more way to "shoe horn" in as much Frozen as possible before its popularity fizzles.

As nice as it is to finally see so much work getting done around the property, is anyone else perplexed by all of the summer work?

Agreed. I just edited my post above yours to reflect that same sentiment... maybe the whole "adding in Frozen" thing isn't too far off base? Especially given that it seems to be a fairly last-minute closing announcement; paired with what we've been hearing about the last-minute add-ons at DHS, it almost makes sense IMO.

Eh, I bet it's just similar updates to what was made to the winter course this year. Does anyone really want to play the summer course during the summer?

All of WDW felt like a contstruction zone my last trip, it was a little overwhelming. But soon we'll have some nice updated stuff so that's the trade-off. Even the cracked parking lots need some love.

Ironically, the one park that did not have construction walls up was Studios, and that may need the biggest overhaul out of the 4 parks. But maybe very soon starting with the American Idol building, fingers crossed...

If only we were getting actual rides out of all of this construction. DAK is the only place where that's going on, and that construction is actually completely out of the way when in the park.
