New coffee kiosk coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney seems to have realized that lots of people love coffee (yes, even in the summer) and that coffee has a tremendous profit margin. The upshot is that coffee=happy people. More coffee = happier WDW. Soon WDW will overtake DL as the happiest place on earth (which apparently used to be Manhattan).

Happy people, in this sense = more awake, alert, less tired. (jazzed on Java juice).... and more time spent in said parks = more time to BUY!! = happy TDO = happy WDC shareholders.

All because of a little roasted bean...

At least they have also made an effort to bring in better coffee (Joffreys and Starbucks). That's been a huge step up from that Nescafe "coffee" they tried to shove.

That cart closed this week. So did the tip board. Disney Outfitters is expanding into that space to make up for the loss of Beastly Bazaar which became a meet and greet and the loss of Creature Comforts which will be converted to a Starbucks in the near future.
Thank you! Sorry, haven't been to DAK in a few months. This would make more sense then, as I suppose there may be a contract somewhere that says Joffrey's gets a kiosk inside the park. So, if the one by the former Tip Board is closed, that would make sense that they are building a new one by BBQ.

Joffrey's seemed good when I had it last summer at the Contemporary Resort.

I do miss the Hills Bros. coffee that they used to serve property-wide in WDW restaurants before they switched to Nescafé. It was a nice "regular" brewed coffee. And at the time ('90s), they were touting how Disney's relationship to Hills Bros. had gone all the way back to the earliest days at Disneyland. I think for a time Hills Bros. was owned by Nestlé, which may have had to do with the transition; but still Hills Bros. brewed coffee was good.

The downfall for the Joffrey's carts is they do not accept the Disney dining as a snack. We were there the second week of June- Starbucks Venti = one snack...Joffrey cash. The line for Starbucks at MK and Epcot were out the door every morning. The only reason I found this out was when we were at Hollywood Studios and needed our morning
Coffee fix, Joffrey's said no to the snack plan so we went to Starring Rolls to use the snack plan. We watched in other parks and noticed that Joffrey's didn't have the DDP symbol either.
Starbucks at Downtown Disney does not accept the snack plan :(, just inside the Parks
