Magic Kingdom
1. Halloween decorations and merchandise kept popping up as the week progressed. Things look good for the upcoming Halloween parties.
2. A crane was positioned behind the castle for the intallation of the dreamlights. It was not very visible during the day though.
3. The bridge to Liberty Square has re-opened and Spectromagic has been running on it.
4. Very light crowds after labor day. In the early afternoon there was only a 5 minute wait at BTMRR and 10 minutes at Splash. Only 5 minutes at Buzz Lightyear as well.
5. Tomorrowland Noodle Station was being utilized as a "table service" restaurant in the evening.
6. The fastpass return line entrance for Peter Pan was moved towards the Columbia Harbour House and not marked clearly (not sure how long this may have been).
7. Halloween paper cups when purchasing soft drinks have surfaced.
Epcot
1. The British Invasion had a couple of new members filling in but were still very good. If you had never seen them perform before you would not have even known any difference. Also, if you have not seen their show for awhile, they now change their costumes for each show depending on the theme (ex. Sargeant Pepper)
2. As expected, Nine Dragons restaurant is still closed for refurbishment.
3. Maelstrom was down due to "technical difficulties" on Tuesday 9/2.
4. An area next to Japan had walls up with an explanation that it was for the food and wine festival.
Hollywood Studios
1. Night of Joy signage to the right of the entrance has replaced the Toy Story Midway Mania sign.
2. Construction related to the Night of Joy has begun in front of the Sorcerer's hat.
General Notes regarding Pop Century
1. The indoor bar at Pop Century has been removed and replaced with more seating for the food court. They also are refurbishing one of the beverage stations.
2. The package pickup has been moved to the actual store along with a move of the register. Essentially the cast members do not have to walk through the food court area to retrieve your purchases.
3. Several trailers of mattresses were spotted in the parking lot next to the unfinished buildings near the 50's section. Workers were seen delivering mattresses to the 50's buildings.
Photos will follow once / if camera issues are resolved.
