I have been reading about the tight fit for many riding the 7DMT. We booked fast passes for the attraction and my concern is that I am 6'4" and have a prosthetic left knee that doesn't bend like a normal knee. Would this present a problem riding this attraction?

Sorry, I can't answer this from personal experience since I'm only 5'3", but I believe there is a "test car" available for those with questions - so they can try it out, rather than waiting in the queue only to find it won't work for them when they get to the actual ride. I know they have them for some of the other attractions (like Expedition Everest), but can't remember if I've heard there is one for 7MDT. I hope so! Good luck, I hope it works for you!

Hopefully someone who knows for sure will post soon.

I would be concerned, unfortunately. I am 6'0" and 300+ lbs. My legs, if any longer, would not have fit. My thigh was horizontally just small enough to fit. I did not realize the footprint was so small, tho'. While I fit in the seat, there was no way both of my legs could squeeze together enough to fit under the lap bar. Good luck!

I'm 6'2 and 290 and I did fit on 7DMT, but it was very tight! It wasn't so much my girth, but the height of my legs from foot to knee. I was very nervous before I got in line and asked the line attendant about it. She said so far, the main problem had been with tall folks not fitting. Btw, there is no test car at this point. I sure hope you get on, its a very fun ride!!

Thanks, just worried because I can't bend leg all the way back in a sitting position. I sure hope I can make the ride.

I am 6'4 and have a bad knee that doesn't bend as far as it should. It is kinda tight but I fit without a problem. Do you know how much bend you have in your knee?

6'4 as well and had no problem. I'm uncomfortable on most rides, but the fun takes over and it's a non issue.

Thunder Mountain is the worst when I bang my knee on the car when the chain lift catches and jerks the car.

So you're saying you can bend 65-70 from straight? If that's the case its going to be really close. I'm sorry I can't give you a clearer answer. My leg wasn't bent 90 degrees but to I can't say for sure it was bent to the level you can bend. They may have a better answer if you talk to cast members at the front of the line.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to give it a try and hope I can ride with my grand kids. Once again thanks for your replies.

Someone else may want to confirm as I've only ridden twice but it seemed like the front seats of each cart seem to have slightly more leg room than the back seats. I did actually remark to my sister that larger people must have a very difficult time on this ride as I found it fairly small.

Glad you got to go on.

I'm 5'9" and 230lbs with bad knees. I rode it but won't again. tight fit and too short of a ride for me. OK if it's ever a walk on, but I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for this ride again.
