Are they going to open up Fastpass+ for this before the actual opening, does anyone know?
We don't really have any big openings in the FP+ era, so very little to go on historically. But I wouldn't be surprised to not see it open for FP+ until it officially opens. So in your example, May 2. But it is a complete guess. So, lets say it is to open on May 2nd, when do you think the FP+ will become available for it?
I would say ride standby the first time so you can see all the queue. FP+ will most likely bypass much of it.
It doesn't die down until about an 1 hour before EMH are over. So beware. But if you can make MK rope drop that may be even better.This. I'm not risking one of my other FP+ selections at MK on a "this might be open by my trip." I also agree that it may be worth seeing the entire queue at least once.
My plan of attack: our first day there is when MK has evening EMH. Since everything that I've read indicates that MK tends to die down significantly after the fireworks, I'm going to wait for the crowd to die down before I try to get in that line. It may still be a long wait, but should be much less than in the middle of the day. We'll see how well that works for me LOL![]()

Yeah, funny, I didn't think about checking out the queue.

I didn't think about missing most of the queue! Good thing we are hitting up morning EMH on our trip in May. That is something I wouldn't want to miss.We don't really have any big openings in the FP+ era, so very little to go on historically. ...and it looks like most things are fairly accessible after about 10 pm from what I have seen. Add to that the fact that others here have said that those times tend to be inflated, and I'm not overly concerned ...

So no official opening date yet on the Mine coaster?
