We got reservation for 2 2-bedroom villas at BWV for October at the 7 month window. I was kind of worried with the Epcot food ans wine fest going on. We have had trouble getting what we wanted before.

First choice was BCV, it is booked but we were able to get BWV.

We're taking oungest son and his family. They have never stayed at Epcot resort area so we expect everyone will have a gereat time in October.

5 year old princess making her secind trip, and little sister (2 YO) first trip.

We will be closing on our BWV points in early May and trying to get a two bedroom at BWV for the end of September. Does anyone have any insight as to how easy or difficult that might be? Anyone have access to the system to see how availability looks right now? Thanks for your help and to jim1051 congratulations on getting quick walking access to F&W!

we tried BCV first for the October trip and had no luck. BWV was second choice and we got 6 of the 7 nights. The last night we are on waitlist, but we reserved at AKV for that night, so we have a place, just have to move as it stands now.

I can't explain why, but I much prefer Boardwalk to Beach Club Villas. So I'm not in anyone's way for rooms there!

I'm sure your waitlist will eventually come through for your last night.

Beach Club Villas had no availability at all when I tried to book an upcoming trip at 7 months. Not one single night! Boardwalk on the other hand was fully available and I got my whole trip rebooked there with no waitlisted nights.

Why is Beach Club Villas so much more popular???

I would think that Boardwalk should be the more popular one because it is substantially cheaper. My original 11-month booking was 3 nights at BLT. The same number of points (or fewer) allows for 4 nights at BCV or 5 nights at Boardwalk.

Anyway, now my quick trip will be not-so-quick. Oh shucks. :)

SO jealous! We're currently on a waitlist for a 2 bedroom at the Boardwalk Villas for October! We're even trying to get one for half our trip.. no luck yet!

Has anyone had any luck being on a waitlist before?

Just over 200 units @ BCV while BWV has closer to 400 and Stormalong bay has something to do with it too.

Good luck with the waitlist, are you waiting for a standard rm? Those are tough. We are about 50/50 with waitlist, hope it works out.

Last Saturday was our 7 month window and we tried to book a 2 bedroom at Boardwalk or Beach Club for October 18-24. Nothing available. We even tried to book a combo of rooms (studios, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedrooms) for the week to make it work and we were told there was not one type of room at Boardwalk or Beach Club for the night of October 20th. We had to "settle" for a 2 bedroom savannah veiw at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
