7 month availability of Grand Californian and Aulani?

Just wondering from those with experience how likely availability is at both Grand Californian and Aulani at the 7 month mark, probably in the first half of April ( I assume spring break?)

We are thinking long term of a trip from the UK to the west coast but hitting both resorts in one trip.

Aulani I imagine isn’t too bad for a hotel room but almost impossible for a Grand Californian Studio?

The Grand Californian is TINY. There are a 23 dedicated 2-bedrooms, 23 lock-off 2-bedrooms and 2 grand villas. Depending on how the lock-offs get booked, there is a minimum of 48 rooms and a max of 71.

Aulani on the other hand has a fair number of rooms. 8 hotel rooms, 193 dedicated 2-bedrooms, 246 lock-off 2-bedrooms and 20 grand villas. 8 hotel rooms were transferred to DVC in exchange for 1 grand villa for expansion of resort amenities.

I got 2 nights in a studio in April 2017 at 7 months. It was Easter week.

I'd say very slim. Definitely has been done, but it's easier if you are flexible and want shorter stays.
