Well, Disney isn't opening a 5th park, also IOA isn't an adult oriented park. Vegas is an adult oriented park. I don't understand the argument that it would cheapen disney. IOA is themed extremely well, even Universal haters can't honestly deny that.

But if you just want to discuss what great theme ideas would go great into a DIsney theme park, well many suggest something along the lines of Disney Sea and I agree that is the most likely. As far as an original project, that is anyones guess

Not sure what the theme would or could be, but I know that the park wouldn't be like IOA. That park doesn't do that well since families tend to have a hard time entertaining everyone there. It has also been losing attendance from year to year if I remember correctly.

I like the idea of a villains style park, but that probably won't happen. Lets see we got fantasy, innovation, movies, and animals, what else could we throw in the mix? I think the sea would be cool (DisneySea) but would rather see something original. Hard to say what they would do but those are the two rumors I wouldn't mind seeing, even though one is a clone.

Preferably, I think they need another water park before a theme park. TL and BB fill up too fast on hot days.

I know that this would NEVER happen but what about a park with all of the old attractions that are no longer in the parks like AE, Mr. Toad, Horizons, WoM....i could go on forever.... I know they don't exist anymore but that would be cool.

that would be sick. I also like the idea of a park centered around villains, but what about one thats about sports?

I realize Disney isnt opening a 5th park, that is why I said "if". I also never said IOA wasn't a top notch park. You obviously misunderstand my point. Yes, IOA, is geared towards adults/teenagers. That is why there are so many roller costers which are typical of a "theme park". However Disney is much more than that. Basically what I am saying is that they can do so much better than Universal, Six Flags etc. I am not a Universal hater, in fact my family and I really enjoy the parks there. But is is not Disney material.

While I don't agree with the wording of the statement, I do agree with point you are trying to make. I am glad you are not a Universal hater, there are to many of them out there. I wouldn't say that IOA is geared towards adults, teenagers, yes that is one of the key target demographics. However, that is because they have the liberity to walk down that road, this is due to the movie division produced a lot of PG/PG-13 and even R hits. Unfortunitly Disney is typed-cast as family with focus on children it is harder for them to get away with pushing prental rating envolope - can anyone say Alien Encounters. Even SGE is too scary for most of their young guests. Universal knows this is an area Disney has trouble venturing into because of the limitation surrounding theme. The only real difference between Disney and Universal is the context of the theme and nothing more. This is why I believe Universal complements Disney in being able to provide a more mature atmosphere. I wouldn't say adult, except for HHN, and that is because of the outrageous amount of drunk people flopping around. Adult theme to me is gambling, clubs, adult venues, ect; Vegas basicly.

But I think it is important to separate Theme from Ride type. A parks theme has nothing to do with type of rides that are in a park. The way you can tell a park is well themed is by asking this question. If you take all of the rides out of a park, will the park still be visually appealing? I think IOA and all the Disney parks fits that discription. If you take the rides out of a Six Flags what is left?

If you want to talk about parks that cheapen the Disney name, look no further then the opening days of DCA and DSP. I think if Disney goes forth with a 5th park the theme is the least of my concern. My concern is whether they will properly fund the park creation and development process.

Sorry about jumping out about the 5th park not opening, I think we all know by now it isn't happening any time soon, if at all. I didn't mean to direct the Universal haters comment at you personally, but to the many that are out there.

I do like the Villains Park idea (a canyon as an entrance with Maleficent's castle in front of a craggy mountain - Port Evil, La Vil de Mal, Badlands, Forgotten Wood, Dark City, etc.)

I also think that Disney Sky would make for an interesting concept. Have the central theme be similar to Disney Sea. (enter through a large airport-like structure with a towering observation tower called the SkyBase - include Air Plane Flatts, the Aviary, Forgotten Peaks, Space Port, etc.)

Finally, I think there could also be some smaller park ideas that would work well.

Anchor the north side of DTD with a small port park - Disney's Coney Island

Anchor more of the Wide World of Sports with a sports-themed action park - ESPN Park.

How is IOA an adult park?

No fifth park will be made anyway so it does not matter. More rides and shows will now add to the four they have now. I would love to see a villians area at MK, another section at Diseny/MGM, Epcot to get more rides, and AK to get the area they were suppose to have at the beginning with dragons and stuff like that.

Time will give us all that. Lots of time.

You guys, come on. The original poster wanted to discuss what people would like to see. Everyone knows a fifth park isn't coming any time soon, but that wasn't the point. I realize the "factual" nature of this, but this is the DISCUSSION section. If you don't WANT a fifth park, say that. But, statements like this are really not necessary in this thread.

My idea would be a park themed around the olden days (Sort of the opposite of EPCOT) , i know its sort of done in the other parks but to have a whole park would be great, with rides from the past and walk through attractions. and all cast members dressed up in old style clothes and lots of old style transport goin through the park.
