Ive had the basic concept for this park for years. Something that uses the DisneySea concept but uses it to add a history-based element as well. Now, I've wondered about the notion of an "integrated" resort. This is a very simple concept. You have a 5th gate, a water park, a value hotel, a moderate hotel with premium rooms and Dvc, and a shopping district integrated into one construction. Being that this is a total concept, building a micro transport center to manage traffic as it goes to shopping, park, water park, etc. that means an appropriate place for a new monorail stop. I imagine that you could tack on a stop at Hollywood to this line just to show some love (maybe a boardwalk stop too).

In any event, this is the basic imagineering theme: An island with mysterious power became sacred to ancient Atlantis before it fell, a source of much of its power. Throughout the ages, lost ships were sucked out of time as they arrived at the island. Different people from different eras exist on this island, along with mysterious keepers whose order originated with Atlantis, who have a special connection to the wonders and mysteries of the seas.

The park would feature a huge volcano mountain in the center and and sharp volcanic ridges spreading out.

The park covers the expanse of this area, which also includes all the other components. So the water park can actually be viewed from a platform inside the dry park. Buildings towering over avenues in the park feature hotel rooms, making hotel rooms always a prime place to view shows and parades - making everyone's lives far easier.

The entry land, just next to a future port themed transportation area, is called the "hall of the keepers". This is just a hub with services and showpieces, but features a live action set-piece show integrated into a fortress explorations playground type area. This area features details which define the story of the imagineering. You can glean details about the island's origins and history and purpose.

Note that every land has ships of the appropriate style in port, with pools of water all over, and a steampunk boy transit system.

There are three branches to follow: old Atlantis, New Broadway, Puerta Esmeralda.

Old Atlantis is considered a colony of old Atlantis. So you have temple/Mayan/Minoan type architecture. Consider big roller coaster ride and journey to center of earth/Indy type ride. This land is your adventure land type equivalent. It's darker and less expansive.

New Broadway is like your American waterfront. Think brass band parades, old time cars, steamliner, etc. This is the Main Street, but you aren't forced down it.

Puerta Esmeralda features Portuguese/Spanish style exploration ships and architecture.

Intermediary lands would be: Nova Troia, a sort of classical Greco Roman area with a Hercules odeon show and journey to the underworld haunted house splash mountain. Also, a micro Polynesian land with D ticket and food court, Arabian market with food and shops, large China area, and finally a Little London with Big Ben and pub and so forth.

The universal theme: the keepers of the island, is eclectic. It's a combo of ancient, steampunk, and high tech.

Every land has hotel rooms above street level, and entrances for hotel guests nearby. The hotel is like a spiderweb snaking through the park.

The waterpark is free to hotel guests in the moderate/premium rooms, and that hotel is the one built into the park. The value rooms have their own area which is Atlantis themed.

The waterpark is in the volcano itself, it has a steampunk theme and represents a connection to captain nemo. Think like Atlantis Aquatica, with a connected ride system and verticality. It would be cool if the wave pool is in the crater center and waves reverberated from the center of the pool to a 360 degree shore. Include light and sound effects, geyser etc. with steampunk geothermal energy works.

The shopping district is in a ring between the water park and the main lands. It will have an eclectic theme, with Oriental, turn of century America, Arabian, ancient, etc decorations. Like a crazy market or something.

Entrance is free. This place will be like the boardwalk and is accessible from both hotels, the water park, and the transport center.

I think this would ev cool
