A lot to cover:
As noted on week 2, I went to WDW for a long 4 day weekend.
Thumbs up--Caribbean Beach Resort, so clean and wonderful. My sit downs, Ohana, Le Cellier, Prime Time, all were a big success. The cast members everywhere just great. I still think Illuminations is the best show in the country.

Thumbs down--weather, very cold, I would think Disney with all the magic they could help us with that. Tour groups!!! I have never read on this site about tour groups in January, but they were everywhere. Afternoons were packed with them

I would give the trip 41/2 of 5. I mean it is Disney.

I went to see Beauty and the Beast this week in 3D. It reminded me of the old Viewmasters. The main characters looked flat, with a layered background. It looked odd. Like a flat Stanley.
3 1/2 out of 5 just because the 3D added no improvement (The movie itself is always 5 of 5 in my heart)

Now for 52 in 52. We enter 1963.

My choices were:

The Incredible Journey
Summer Magic
Savage Sam
Miracle Of The White Stallions
Son of Flubber

I nixed the above and went with .....Sword In The Stone.
I chose this because it has some popularity, and I do not recall watching it.
I know not much of a background needed. Boy Arthur, learning from Merlin, lessons of life, to eventually lift the sword.
It was just ok, but it was not for me. I can see little boys loving it today with the magic and the slapstick. If you did see it by the way...anyone feel bad for the female squirrel? I found it not that exciting. Close to boring. The plus is it looked great. The animation holds up well.
The boy who does the voice of Arthur, his voice cracked and changed often> I thought this, but then I found out 3 people did the voice which explains it (so that is a fun fact or not so fun).
I would give it 2 out of 5. If I was a little boy I can see them giving it 41/2 of 5.

1964..next week.
