5:00 PM Ticket questions

Hello,
I might be going to WDW for a conference in the begining of March
and had a few questions:

1) Can I add 3 days of after 5:00 PM Park Tickets to my room key?
(Conference is from 9-5 each day.)

2) Does staying at the Dolphin count as an on site stay for EMH?

3) Would it be cheaper to get a 5 day regular ticket than 3 or 4 day
after 5:00 PM ticket?

4) Is it hard to get a sit down table for 1? ( Wife can't make it!)

Thanks for any help!!

I don't think there is such a thing as a 5PM ticket.

EMH is available to Swan and Dolphin Guests.

Tables for 1 are as easy or difficult as tables for two, it's the same table. March is fairly slow, depending on when in March, so getting reservations shouldn't be too bad except for CRT and Le Cellier.

I guess I used the wrong name. The conference web site calls them
Meeting/Convention Afternoon Tickets.

Thanks!!

Forgot to state that if I go it'll be the first week in March.

OK, never heard of those either...

If you don't plan on "hopping", a five-day base ticket is $236.43 for comparison purposes. Check that against what the Conference is offering.

They're offering a 1 day after 4 PM ticket for $43. Wonder if you buy more than one ticket if you get a small discount? I guess I'll probably have to call
and ask.

Thanks for the help!

Even without discount, five days would be cheaper than a 5-day MYW base ticket.

43x5=215

You are correct, but the web site only mentions 1 day after 4:00 PM
ticket. I'm thinking I'd have to buy five 1 day tickets, but I'm not sure.

Well, I click on the link on the Convention web site and it takes me to
http://www.disneyconventionear.com/DisneyAttendee2009/....
and then I click on the Buy Tickets link and it sends me to
http://tickets.disney.go.com/.... where you can choose from Magic Your Way
Tickets or After 2pm/After 4pm Tickets.

The 2nd link doesn't work for me. The first one if you click to buy them it just keeps popping the same window up for me.

If memory serves, you may either have to buy them directly from your convention organizer or wait until you get to your resort and either be booked under the group/convention/conference block of rooms. You may also be able to show proof you are attending a convention/conference.

I didn't post the entire links. I tried to convey that with the ...'s. Lots of security stuff left off. :)
Yes, it does say that you can't get them at the parks and that you have to
be attending a convention.

Yes there is such a ticket and it is only available to convention attendees and their guests\families. My family and I are annual passholders so I have necer used them but I always get the information when attending a convention at Disney. I think they are 1 day each only so you would have to buy seperate tickets for each day. However you should have a special convention phone number you could call to find out for sure.

I was in Orlando for a conference, work was paying my way so I had to go to the meetings , and we bought the "after 2" tickets offered on the conference site. Two, two day non hoppers, for 198.00. We had tickets to the MNSSHP one night and we used the other two nights for MK and Epcot, taking advantage of EMH each night. I felt it was a good deal for us because I was very occupied during the day at meetings and staying on property so I left the conference (Mariott World Center Hotel) at about 2 each day and we were in the parks by 330 or so, MK closed at midnight one night and Epcot closed at midnight the next. We were only in town for 5 nights, so one day I spent the entire day at meetings and then had dinner out with friends also in town for the conference. I would buy those tickets again, they are seperate and cannot be added to you room key. In fact the hotel (POP) didn't even know those tickets existed. We bought them at the vistors center, ordered them online and pick them up when we got into town. They would have mailed them to us but it added 15 dollars or so to the order and I didn't see the need to pay extra since I was going to have a car to go pick them up. Hope this helps!
