I am going to keep this short as I am running late to Hollywood studios. But prior to my vacation I had almost not went to magic kingdom on the 4th because of all the negative posts about being in the park. I will never listen to negativity again. Not only was it the 4th but it was also my birthday which was truly an amazing experience.
we were at magic kingdom from 10am until closing and yes, it was beyond crazy. So crazy that Pecos bills had a hour wait to both order and a separate wait to get a table. But when I tell you magic kingdom knows how to throw a party and make every guest feel special, they did just that everywhere.
I wore my birthday button and nearly every cast member said happy birthday. I truly felt like a star. I even got a free entree and desert toward the end of the night when the manager said wow your a independence baby and the CMS working the register sung happy birthday. I started crying I have never felt so special before in public.
While the crowds were extremely heavy we never waited in line for more than 45mins. Utilizing fastpass and straying away from the Paraguay tour groups (just as bad as Brazil). We did everything in the magic kingdom, literally everything and also did space mountain 6 times before midnight, splash mountain 3 times. I even rode dumbo which I have not rode since 1994.
The fireworks were aweinspiring. That alone is worth the trip. The 360 perimeter was phenomenal. After the fireworks, we were standing by winnie the pooh and the cm said hey birthday boy, your my VIP guest, she meant the line was walk on as I had walked pass several times and it was a 60min wait. Lol
This was truly the best birthday ever. What makes Disneyworld special is that even with the park closed to capacity, the CMS make a point to make each guest feel special and that is why they get all my money. Sometimes you need those special moments in life. Thank you for a wonderful birthday and holiday magic kingdom.
