4th of July at Polynesian

I Have noticed lots of pool hopping and off site people prior the the 4th of july fireworks at the polynesian pool/beack area. people stealing other peoples chairs and the towels on the chairs, taking all of the towels from the racks, taking chairs off of patios, overcrowing the pool, and trashing the beach. :hurl:

Anyone notice the same stuff at any other monorail resorts???




PS- I was glad i had a 3rd floor patio!!! :sohappy:

They must have parked at MK parking and gone over then.

The Contemporary, Polynesian, and Wilderness had hard closes (only resort guests allowed, unless a good excuse) on the 4th (Contemporary on the 3rd as well for the GI JOE convention) and all DVC pool hopping abilities were gone for the weekend.

I was allowed into the Wilderness Lodge just by having a PS for Whispering Canyon. The pool was really busy but the cafe wasn't busy at all during lunchtime

Don't think they can turn you away when you have PS.

When we stayed at the Poly we noticed the beach filled up just before fireworks.

CM's were supposed to "encourage" guests to travel on Disney transportation.
