I am travelling out to see the 4th July fireworks display for the first time on a two week holiday, will i be expected to pay extra for this show?also what other delights will i be expected to see at the parks on the that day. Where will i be able to get the tickets from if i do have to do so in addition to the the normal park ticket.Thank you to any help and Advice anyone can offer to help my visit more enjoyable which i love place as it is anyway.

I love the Fourth of July fireworks. There is no separate ticket. They usually start at 9 p.m., an hour earlier than when Wishes starts. Fireworks are shot both behind MK and from a little island in the Seven Seas Lagoon, plus there are perimeter fireworks.

it's not that bad crowd wise. We have gone the past 5 years and it's busy but not crazy. We always watched from the hub and have always been able to secure a spot 20 mins to showtime.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Uh. "Not That Bad"..... I'd love to know what you consider Bad....
I agree Dave lol, and No offense to the poster saying that of course .. But I know every single year the park usually fills to capacity by 12pm if not earlier so I know it's bad and have seen pictures every year from others and its wall to wall/shoulder to shoulder people. So I totally agree with your question as to what is bad to them. Haha
Best advice as others noted get there as early as you can in the AM and do not leave. Prepare for large crowds and Enjoy the awesome fireworks show!! :)

I highly recommend doing the 3rd of July at Magic Kingdom and the 4th at Epcot. That's what we did last year and it was REALLY successful for us.

If you want to read about it....here's our trip report from last year. http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/12-days-of-live-trip-reporting.886042/ July 3 at MK is on the second page and July 4 at Epcot on page three.
