4 adults, what hotel?

Okay I just found out my family (2 parents, 1 brother-22, and me-24) will be going to Disney the second week of November.
Now that we actually all can get off work and take time to go together, we are actively planning. Found a great airline deal at that time but now we are contemplating on a hotel.

Here are some issues.

1) I think a standard 2 queen bed hotel room at any resort (especially the values) will be too small for 4 adults. So even if we got a trundle bed, I still feel it would be a tight squeeze and hard to sleep soundly.
2) Plus my brother and I will not fall asleep at the same time as my parents, so somebody will lose sleep if we are in the same room.
3) We would have loved to be able to get a 1-bedroom DVC room, BUT I don't even think it would be worth trying to see if any are available because we will be there at the time of the Food and Wine Fest.

So what I suggested to my parents are to consider getting 2 values room and ask the hotel to try to give us adjoining rooms or some rooms near to each other.

Anyway, I have given others on the board opinions in the past, so I would love to hear your opinions or other ideas especially if you can relate to the scenario of going as a family with adult children.

Thanks in advance!

I would think getting two adjoining rooms would be best. That way you and your brother can have your own beds and can stay out as late as you wish without disturbing your parents. Why not check out moderate resorts too? My mother joined us a couple of years ago and we stayed at CS in adjoining rooms. We payed a little less than we would have payed for one room at a deluxe resort and had plenty of room and privacy.

P.S. let me know how it goes...we have a son, 10 and a daughter,14 and I can imagine we will be in your situation some day!!:)

I'd get two rooms at ASMovies, or Pop Century. Most likely (almost certainly) cheaper than one room at a deluxe resort, and more space and beds than one room at a moderate.

I'd vote for two rooms at a Value too, unless the DVC thing works out. You could maybe get a king bed room adjoining a two double bed room. Remember that WDW charges an extra adult in room fee which is as high as $25 per night at the Deluxe resorts!! Two values is going to be the best bet financially. I stayed at the Pop Century and really liked it.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the advice!

CherryNegra, thanks for the link. I have checked it out in the past, and that arrangement works great renting points, as my parents and fiancees family have tried and did it successfully.

My only thought is that I didn't know if I should even try it for this trip. My impression is that those DVC rooms get booked fast especially over the time of the Food and Wine Festival. But who knows? :veryconfu

I will have to check.
