4/5 E-night vs. MK Hours

I've seen conflicting info that on one hand says there is an E-ride night scheduled from 9pm to 12am on Friday,4/5, and on the other hand says that MK hours on 4/5 have been extended to 11pm. Does anyone know the real scoop?

The last I heard was that that eride had been canceled but you might want to wait till it is a bit closer to that time when tickets would have gone on sale (3 days prior) to be sure!

Disney.com on its WDW hours page is posting MK being open from 9:00am to 11:00pm. This is a new development, meaning the hours were extended from what was originally supposed to be a 9:00pm closing and this change was made w/in the last week.

The reason I know this is that we're going to MK for my daughter's 4th birthday which happens to be April 5th, and I caught this hours change yesterday.

I'm not sure if I'm excited or not about the extended hours. We were not planning on doing E-ride night and liked that Spectromagic and Fireworks were originally scheduled to happen a bit earlier than when they now have them posted.

Also I kind of see this as a harbinger for what Disney feels will be a hugely crowded day at MK--a battle I will win, my friends! Whenever I come up to a long line, I plan on shouting, "Look, I think I see Mickey Mouse" in hopes of drawing people out of line.

That still works, doesn't it?
