36 Hour Trip

Hi everyone, we are leaving on Wednesday for a quick 36-hour trip. We are flying in and going straight to MK until midnight using EMH since we are staying at a Disney resort.
My question is, if we are using online check in, and going straight to the park until midnight, do we need to stop at the resort to validate our Magicbands or anything? Will they automatically have our resort reservation on them so we can use EMH?

If you utilize online check-in, not only can you go straight to the park but you will also receive a text when your room is ready (or you can check for yourself on MDE) and can go straight to your room at the end of the night! (No need to stop in the lobby.)

That's so perfect! That's what I had thought. We were concerned it would affect the EMH if we didn't go to the resort before they start.
