3 People, 1 Annual Pass, Unscheduled 1 Day at MK - How would this work?

HI, We're regular park goers and have pretty much figured out how to schedule our attractions on the bands when we have a planned multi-day visit at the parks. This situation is a new one for us and I'm asking for a little help.

We are in Tampa on an unscheduled trip and would like to spend one day (this coming Tuesday) a the MK. One of the three of us has an annual pass. The other two need to buy a one day ticket. We all have magic bands from previous trips.

What is the most effective way to make this work? Buy tickets online today or tomorrow? If so, is it possible to somehow link them all to bands? If not, what happens when we get to the park? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only real advantage of Magic Bands is the charging facility when you're staying at a WDW resort.
As your trip is a couple of days away you wouldn't have the time to allow the tickets to be posted to you. I'd wait and buy them on arrival at WDW - you don't need them associated to an MDE account, just use them as ordinary tickets for park entry and forget about the bands.

Another advantage to Magic Bands is PhotoPass for on-ride photos and videos. If your AP is the newer type that includes free PhotoPass, having all three of you linked as friends would allow the passholder access to the group's photos and videos. Or, if it's an older AP, the one-day PhotoPass is an option.

The on-line purchase of tickets can be linked to the MDE accounts of the non-AP guests before you arrive and would be available on their MBs immediately, which would allow advance FP+ selection, which might get you slightly better options than day-of ["might" being the operative word here].

Many people prefer using MB over digging out a ticket every time they want to use FP+, it's a personal choice.

Well last night we bought two tickets from Disney by phone. The agent helped attached the tickets to existing bands and link them together. So as of now we have 3 fast passes for Tuesday evening on attractions we wanted and a dinner reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern. Here's hoping parking and getting into the MK go well.
