3 Favourite things to do at resorts

Hi all

What's your three favourite things to do at resorts. It can be three different resorts or the same one. Here are mine:

1. Hiring the sea racers at wilderness Lodge and going round seven sea lagoon and bay lake all the way up to GF. Anazing views and pics.

2. Walking round the resort grounds especially WL to Fort Wilderness and seeing the horses and at CB walking to the island. It's msgical getting up first thing or walking round last thing and just soaking it all in.

3. Chilling at the sandy beach at WL and CB at the hammocks and reading a good book in between the business of the Parks.

Can't wait to read all your fav things

We always go to the pool/kid water play area and try our hand at some of the pool games.

Try the resort restaurant and watch a movie under the stars.

Since we stay at Kidani village mostly, listen to the story tellers and catch a night animal encounter.

1) swimming at awesome themed pools.
2) taking a stroll around the resort.
3) getting ice cream at the boardwalk on a hot summer day.

I like to grab a cocktail from the Sanaa restaurant's bar which is just inside the door to the fire pit. One of may favorite things to do outside the parks.

1. Eat at one of the restaurants
2. Browse the gift shop
3. Explore the resort (very worthwhile over Christmastime to see the different decorations)

1. Watching the the fireworks from the beach of the Polynesian
2. Riding the surrey bikes at POR or Boardwalk
3. Hidden Mickey hunting - something to do while we check out the different resorts.

Laying in the sun.
Finding some competition for (quality) beach volleyball

- Browse the gift shop
- Stroll grounds
- Have a couple drinks at Banana Cabana at CBR (it's where I stay). Outdoor bar, great bartenders, get to people watch.

1. Walk along the beach from poly to gf. We got married at the wedding Oavilion so going there is a must every trip.

2. Walking along the Boardwalk and BC/YC clubs beach.

3. And lastly do a drink hop around the 3 bay lake resorts.

1. Sip a bourbon on the balcony/patio at WL just surveying the grounds.

2. Stroll through the territory at WL

3. Watch my kids play on the jungle-gym at the beach at WL.

Like you, most of my memories are at Wilderness Lodge

1. Sit in the lobby late at night, enjoying the ambience
2. Take a stroll around the grounds at night
3. Enjoy breakfast on the balcony of my room

All of this is at WL

2. Walking around Crescent Lake with my wife at sunrise
3. People watch parents with their kids enjoy the Boardwalk activities, particularly the games

1. Parasailing at the Contemporary.
2. Walking around the resort ( POFQ ) after a long park day, unwinding and enjoying the peaceful evening after dealing with crowds all day.
3. Enjoying the rockin piano... evening entertainment at PORS - Ye Haa Bob Jackson

We stay at POP frequently so here ours are...

1) Having drinks at Petals by the Hippy Dippy Pool.
2) Early morning walks around the grounds and over to Art of Animation
3) Late night swimming

1) Early morning coffee on the balcony, patio, or stoop outside
2) A cold drink on a lounge chair by the pool while the kids splash around
3) Marital Magic

2 - Grab a quick breakfast and leave for the Parks
3 - Sleep

Those are the only 3 things we bother doing at our resort
