To start off, we went last year the same week, the last week in Oct. Last year we were able to get free dining. This year it was not offered. Maybe that was a good thing because it didn't seem that busy this year. Even EPCOT with the F&W festival didn't seem as busy.
The other difference between this year and last is; last year we went as a couple. This year we went as two families. Going as a couple is much better and a lot less stressful trying to keep everyone happy.
Arrival day; Staying at FQ. We flew in late and decided not to hit one of the parks. We grabbed something to eat at the food court. The DW shopped of course. I grabbed a beer and hung out. Everyone else did their own thing. A walk around the pool and along the "River" is relaxing at FQ.
