2nd Entrance to MK Ideas

I know that this goes against the hub idea that Walt invented and takes away the stage that is set by walking down Main Street, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for what a second entrance to magic kingdom would be like.

I was thinking of a sea harbor/ port town theme with a dock on Bay Lake for boats coming from Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary. This is a mock up I threw together.

When the pathway crosses world dr and the monorail track to the sheds, there would be scenery in place to cover the monorail and world drive would dip under. I also included a space between this new area and SM for a possible TRON ride that would be hidden from view from this new area.

I believe actually there WAS going to be a second MK entrance at one time...when the original design was being developed, there were plans for an Persian/Arabian style resort on the east side of Tomorrowland, and I think there were plans for a separate gate on that side.

I know that they wanted a resort on the north western shore of bay lake, it would make sense to have a separate entrance. With this theme, they could have a small resort (200 - 250 rooms) occupying the area south of the path with a park entrance in the hotel's lobby like what they do at the grand cal lodge.
