Our last trip was in 2007. This July we are going to WDW and staying at PORS. Hubby, me, daughters 13, 11 and 4 (huge princess fan).
I haven't decided if we are going to do a Dining Plan. We aren't huge eaters. We will usually eat a quick b'fast (except for ones planned) and either eat lunch if/when we are hungry or just get a snack to hold over until Dinner.
Made the character b'fast reservations later due to time for transportation to place.
And sort of made my ADRs, especially Dinner, based on night EMH's in case we want to walk around, get character autographs, ride any rides, etc.
Any input is appreciated!

Day 1:
Flight arrives in Orlando 11:55 AM. Magic Express to resort.
Arrive at Resort 1-ish. Check in is at 3-4 PM, so room may or may not be ready.
Rest/swim/check out Resort/quick service lunch.
Dinner Rainforest Cafe 6 PM.
Walk around DTD.

Day 2:
Quick service Breakfast.
Hollywood studios at open 9AM.
Lunch Sci-Fi 12:10 PM
To resort afternoon for rest/nap/swim
Quick service dinner (don't want to do a big dinner due to big dessert).
Tomorrow land Fireworks dessert party 9-ish. Fireworks 10-10:30.
My plan is to get to MK early evening and ride any rides or get character autographs before Fireworks.
This night is EMH at MK 10PM-midnight. May stay if we feel like it.

Day 3:
Akershus Breakfast 9:30 AM
Epcot--see what rides we can get in.
Quick service Lunch.
Resort afternoon--Rest/nap/Swim
Dinner 50's Prime Time 5:40 PM at Hollywood Studios.
EMH HS 9-11 PM. May stay if we feel like it.

Day 4:
Quick service breakfast
Magic Kingdom. Rope Drop.
Lunch? May do quick service lunch at MK or resort..depends on how we feel.
Afternoon back to Resort for rest/nap/swim
Dinner Cape May Cafe 6:40 PM
Evening walk around World Showcase
EMH Epcot 9-11 PM---may stay depending on how we feel, but probably will to see WS while it's not too hot (last trip didn't get to see hardly any WS b/c it was too hot).

Day 5:
Quick service breakfast
Animal Kingdom--EMH 8-9AM. Be there at 8 AM for Kilamanjaro.
quick service lunch.
Afternoon back to resort for rest/nap
Dinner Chef Mickey's 5:05 PM
Not really any evening plans.

Day 6:
Quick service breakfast
Back to Magic Kingdom?
quick service lunch.
Afternoon back to resort for rest/nap/swimming
Dinner--Hoop Dee Doo Review 6:15 PM (We did this last time and everyone loved it)
No evening plans...back to resort for bed or hanging out at Resort.

Day 7: Last day
Breakfast at O'Hana 9:20 AM
This is really a "do whatever day"...probably hang out at Downtown Disney
T-Rex 3 PM (b/c only reservations I could get that close to dinner)
Evening ice cream?
Evening still DTD?
or if we want to spend some time at a park I may cancel the T-Rex to avoid running around to get there at 3 PM.

Day 8:
Leaving
quick service breakfast
Magic Express 10AM-ish
Should be at airport 11:30AM-ish
Flight Depart 1:30PM
Home 2:50 PM

looks like a game plan. Be sure to allow plenty of travel time after your rest/nap/swim to get to your dinner spots.

Sounds very good. On Day 3, get to EPCOT at rope drop, and you can probably ride both Soarin' and Test Track before your breakfast reservation plus get a FP to return to one of them again after breakfast. There are lots of great options for QS lunch at EPCOT that day.
