I was in Vons this afternoon and wow talk about the promotion...there were banners and baggers wearing mouse ears.

As soon as you walked into Vons there was a rack of swipable gift coupons then an entire rack of D/L admission gift coupons.

buy one day and get the second free for So. Ca. residents. Didnt really look at the dates or the prices other than it was only for So. CA. residents and Baja Mexico residents.

Dont know how they (disney) will check for residency unless they make you change the gift coupon at the ticket windows.

Can't they just ask for a driver's license? I don't know how they work in CA, but here in NY, our driver's licenses give zip codes, and Disney explicitly states which zip codes qualify as being is SoCal.

ANAHEIM, Calif. Beginning Tuesday, Southern California residents will be able to buy "2fer" tickets to Disneyland and California Adventure at some 300 participating Vons and Pavilions stores.
Vons/Safeway stores spokesman Daymond Rice says for the price of one park, Southern California residents will be allowed admission to both Disneyland and California Adventure on two different days.

The price is 53 dollars for individuals ten and older and 43 dollars for children ages three to nine. Proof of Southern California or Baja California residence is required for admission to the parks under the special promotion.

Rice says the special ticket is valid through April 28th.
