26 Years, 1 Day and 10 Trips Later...Sept/Oct '11 PTR

Hello there! Thanks for joining me in this Pre Trip Report. I will be back on Disney property for my 11th trip exactly 26 years and 1 day later. My most recent trip was in January of this year. I am still working on that report, so check it out.
Now for the five W's.
Who-Just Me and my dad.
Jessica, 28yo WDW addicted planner and host of this here TR.

My Dad, original WDW planner and sidekick for this trip.

What-A week long trip with 5 day park hoppers and the DDP.
When-Septemeber 30th-October 6th
Where-Pop Century Preferred Room
Why-Celebrating Magic Kingdom's 40th, my first MNSSHP and attending Food & Wine for the first time.

Same reasons me and my mom will be down there from the 26th to the 3rd and also staying in POP! Maybe we'll see ya there!!!

We absolutely will be in MK all day on the 1st. Where else would we be? :lol: We are even working on our own little celebration on the day. I'll tell more once I actually update this PTR.

Itinerary


September 29th-We will leave home around 8am. Stopping in Ocala for the night.

September 30th-Wake up early, have breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and then finish the drive. Boardwalk and DTD, with lunch at Earl's(Of course. :slurp till the room is ready. MNSSHP tonight, a first for me.

October 1st-:bday: Happy 40th Birthday Magic Kingdom! Breakfast at Crystal Palace at 10:15am and Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:25pm.

October 2nd-MGM all day. Lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe at 11:00am. Fantasmic tonight, another first for me. EMH tonight.

October 3rd-We will be going to all four parks today. We will start at Animal Kingdom for EMH. Breakfast is at Tusker House at 9:15am. Then over to MGM, Epcot and finally MK for EMH.

October 4th-Epcot all day. Morning EMH. No ADR's today, cuz I will be enjoying Food & Wine Festival for the first time today.

October 5th-Magic Kingdom all day. Crystal Palace breakfast at 8:05am, prior to park opening. Dinner at Tony's Town Square at 5:00pm, another first for me.

October 6th-Time to say goodbye. I always cry when leaving. I hate leaving WDW and I really hate saying goodbye to me best friend.

We are going to be at HS on the 2nd and Epcot on the 4th. Great minds think alike.

Of course! Silly question I asked :hammer: We'll be there right for rope drop that morning too! Can't wait to hear about your little celebration too!! And wherever we are staying in POP we will be decorating our window for Halloween and the 40th anniversary

The only ADR we have that day is Tony's at 2:00! We have early ADRs for Crystal Palace on Friday morning..that is one of my favorite restaurants!

We'll miss you for MNSSHP! We're doing it the Tuesday night (27th) and the Sunday (Oct 2) So excited to do it twice and for the first time ever as well!! And you'll enjoy Fantasmic it's a really great show, I've seen it so many times that we just avoid it now because there's so many people, just make sure you get in line early because it gets packed!

Good idea! We'll probably try to take the very first bus out of POP that morning, I'll make sure to look for ya! I can't wait either!! I don't want to wish the summer away but at the same time I want to go to Disney World! :sohappy:

I don't mind wishing away summer. :lol: It's way too hot here right now. And it's only gonna get hotter before it cools off. So I'm cool with wishing away summer. It also has the added benefit of the trip being closer. :sohappy:

Kinda sorta. :lol: I have some Minnie ear barrettes that I will wear. I am having a red, white and black tutu made to wear. I have black capris to wear, I just need to find a shirt to go with it.

What about you? Any plans for dressing up?

I plan on dressing as Cinderella in her rags and my mom is going to dress up as the mouse Jaq who is in control of the key to unlock Cinderella from her room. We wanted her to be the fairy godmother but its just too hot of a costume to walk around the parks in so this works
