I don't know if this is in the right forum or not, but I found a picture of the 20K Lagoon that really brought back memories of the good old days when the lagoon still existed.

That's a cool picture. See what they did by draining the lagoon? They displaced many ducks from their habitat Thanks for sharing.

It was actually pretty sad. Back in May I think it was, anyway, they had started draining it, but it was still relatively full. And the little ducks were still swimming around. Felt bad for the poor guys 'cause I knew it wouldn't last long. It was kind of a sad sight watching them swim in the shallow water.

And the fact that there's a massive LAGOON just outside the park, plus the fact that there's more water covered land in Florida than dry land.

to cute. i have always thought that ducks were so cool. i have a picture that my mother took of me in 83 (i was 6-7) i think, when we stayed at the camp grounds. i was decked out in my panama jack outfit and i was surrounded by ducks and feeding them. really neat pic. i wish i had to show today.

looks like the ducks went to the Grand Floridian Pool lol. (see the last ISTCrew20 update). :lol: neat picture, there is still lots of room for ducks elsewhere in WDW.

That makes me sad to think that the next generation of WDW fans won't be able to see the baby ducks...
