NASCAR announced Freeway Insurance is the 4th premier partners of the NASCAR Cup Series. The other 3 premier partners of the cup series is Cocoa Cola, Busch Light, and Xfinity.

NASCAR announced changes to Truck series and the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series.

Truck series changes
Cup drivers with 3 or more years of Full time Cup experience can race up to 8 races a season in the truck series
Cup drivers are ineligible for truck series Cut-off, Playoff Races and Championship race.
NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series are ineligible for Truck series Championship race.

NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series changes
Cup drivers with 3 or more years of Full time Cup experience can race up to 10 races a season in the NASCAR O' Reilly Auto Part Series.
Cup drivers are ineligible for NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series Cut-off, Playoff Races and Championship race.
The minimum age to race NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series road course races is 17 years old. Also the minimum age to race NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Part series for track that are 1.25 miles or less is 17 years old.

I did read it before you posted it. This is basically NASCAR listening to their lawyers. NASCAR already has to deal with damage from emails and texts that their management sent to each other.

I do know private texts and emails from NASCAR management was coming out before the settlement including from the President of NASCAR. Those texts and emails don't paint a good image. What I'm referring is stuff with Richard Childress, fans, and the now defunct Superstar Racing Experience. The stuff with Superstar Racing Experience gives an impression that NASCAR Management might've had a role in why Tony Stewart left NASCAR.

I agree that it is horrible.

Greg Biffle was more than a very good NASCAR driver. He also was a very good person. Greg last year used his helicopter to delivery supplies in remote areas in North Carolina that were affected by hurricane Helene.

RIP to all 7 people in that crash. Prays and thoughts going to families of the 7 airplane crash victims.

There is more horrible news during NASCAR's Offseason.

Denny Hamilin's parents home was on fire. It took around 2 hours for the fire to be put out due to no fire hydrant in the area of the fire.

1 of Denny's parents died from the fire and the other parent is in critical condition:(.

What I know before fire was Denny's dad was dying based on the information Denny gave during Phoenix race weekend. Information came out that Denny's dad was hooked up to Oxygen before the fire.

There is a new current update.

It is confirmed that Denny's dad died from his injuries from the fire. His mom was transferred to a burn center in Winston-Salem and is being actively being treated.

Prays and thoughts go to the Hamlin family and hope Denny's mom pulls through.

It has been announced that International Hot Rod Association has purchased Rockingham Speedway.

International Hot Rod association is planning to update Rockingham's facilities, and expanded fan amenities.

This does not affect the truck series race and the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts series race at the race track. Both races will happen in April as planned.

This is an update of information on the crash. Plane had a loud popping sound after leaving runway and the plane turned back in bad weather. What I mean by bad weather was poor visibility, fog, and light drizzle. It sounded like the plane came in too low and clipped wiring and tree tops.
