It's a whole lot later than normal but AECOM just released their Annual Theme Park Attendance Report for 2021. It usually comes out in late May or early June. I've been accumulating the data for many years now and below are a few trend charts of patterns in the last 20 years. It's going to look a lot different going forward as operators move away from measuring success by heads through the gate and focus more on revenue per guest. These are just a few views of the latest data from the history I've accumulated.

I know this will trigger the annual debate that these numbers are all lies and made up but they are the only industry data set available and come from the same source year over year so their the best we have, especially to see the trending over time.
The market share one is going to be interesting to watch over time since this is a measure of bodies through the turnstile/tapstyle, not a measure of revenue of financial performance.
I've got lots of other view but these are typically the ones that mean the most to people each year.
Also, if you see a typo on any of the numbers from the AECOM report (not if you just disagree with the number) please let me know so I can correct.
