2021 Planning

Hello!

My family (mom, dad, granny) and my husband and I are planning a trip for 2021. No kids, all adults. Trying to start planning dates though I know we will not be able to book until 2020. This will be my 12th trip to the parks and we are all well versed in the planning. My husband I just went in December for our honeymoon and had the best time! My family typically goes in the summer months, but I was interested to see how the new date based pricing for tickets would effect crowds as well as the hype behind the anniversary in 2021. Just wanted to see ya'lls thoughts on your predictions for the best time to go in 2021.

Thank you!

Congrats on the wedding & glad your honeymoon was enjoyable. Hope your spouse has the Disney love you have and you will be making many trips back.
Theres no way to predict the effect. To offer a guess on the crowd size I'd say its defenitely going to be higher than weve seen. Pricing alterations/ increases havnt altered peoples desire or ability to visit. Disneys building in more rooms. They just start saving more or delay paying off trips by utilizing credit cards. I keep saying WDW is not losing its popularity and if people want to go they will find a way to make it happen. CC debt be da@ned, we want to see/ experience SW, Tron, TSL, FoP, Ratatouille and more. The anniversary special events will add to the excitement.

If it's adults only I would recommend going during one of the Epcot festivals. There are the Festival of the Arts and the Flower and Garden Festival in the 1st half of the year and then the Food and Wine Festival and the Festival of the Holidays during the 2nd half. These are festivals that reward you for slowing down and enjoying the surroundings rather then running from attraction to attraction.
