2019 Has Really Sucked

2019 has really been a weak year for animated movies, not as bad as 2017 but still pretty bad.

This year has given us gems like How To Train Your Dragon 3, The Lego Movie 2, Missing Link and Toy Story 4 but it's also given us dumb crap like Wonder Park, Uglydolls, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Angry Birds 2, The Queen's Corgi, The Lion King, The Playmobil Movie and probably The Addams Family, Spies In Disguise and Arctic Dogs. Notice the lack of originality

Hopefully next year is better.

The Angry Birds 2 has a decent review score so SOMEONE had to like it.

Honestly I think the last several years have sucked.
The last animated movie I saw in theater was Moana and that was only because the rest of my family needed something to get their minds off of just putting down their dog.
It was OK but I did become board at spots.
They don't crank out classics like they used to.
And my goodness the cartoons that my nieces have been watching this summer are absolutely terrible!

It took me a year to actually get into Frozen but now I enjoy it (actually FEA and Frozen Sing Along helped me like it a lot more) but I'm not even excited for the second movie because the preview was so God awful!
