2016 DDP TS Dessert Substitution?

Could someone clear this up for me, because I seem to be getting conflicting information on this. For the 2016 DDP, you are able to convert the dessert at a TS for something else - can you convert it into a snack credit or appetizer, or just the snack credit? I was under the impression that it was only the snack credit, but there doesn't seem to be much concrete info on this.

I don't know for sure - but I doubt it. Probably a case of eat the dessert or lose it

From what I know at a table service restaurant (I did not try to switch anything at a QS) I was able to change the dessert to a side salad or a soup, not a snack credit. Hope this helps
