2014 Bounceback Offer Question

I saw in my booklet that there was a Bounceback offer. However since I came back home and just noticed it could I still book a room using the specific Pin Code that was offered. I know it says that you should do this before checking out but, I wanted to find out if it's good still after leaving the resort?

Call again. Tell them you spoke to someone when you were there but you thought they quoted you wrong at the time, but since you didn't have your computer you couldn't compare to previous discounts. This legit happened to me 2 years ago and they put me on hold, spoke to a manager, etc., then told me I could book. It's definitely worth trying another CM before giving up.

IMO It shouldn't just be for checking out..How in the heck are you going to figure out that you would actually be able to use the Bounceback without the proper planning...I mean at least just have it as a bonus PIN code for staying at the resort and not just exclusive at Check out..It would make more sense that way then just jumping on a date and hoping you can actually use it..

It isn't any different than cruise lines offer a discount on the next cruise if you book before you disembark. I have no problem with it. Plus, you can always change the date just as long as you book while you are there.

I would never lie about it. To call and lie that you were given the wrong info would be pretty low, imho.

I am most curious about this. Can you explain this to me, please? Does the bounce back stipulate a time frame that it is good for? I'm thinking I should hold off booking a late October trip until I see what the bounce back is when I arrive in April. Thanks for taking the time to explain. Truly appreciated!

I didn't lie about the quote being wrong. They quoted me around $6k for a week at Beach Club. I knew that was WAAAAY too high but had no point of reference. Turns out they were quoting for both my room and my parents room, 6 people total. They said I could book after I got home since it was not explained that way. As others have stated people have booked after they got home, so it's always worth speaking to another CM.

See above. Late October does fall within the offer time frame. Dial ext. 8844 before you check out.

They usually offer two a year. The above discount thru June/July and then free dining in the fall.

Mine was always for September or October time frame of next year, or months that we could not go ( I am a teacher. I can only do summer months or holidays).

One more question please, then I'll stop talking. If I reserve my hotel now (POR) can I apply the bounce back to that existing reservation or should I just cool my jets and make the reservations when I'm down there? Thanks so much for your patience with me!
