Wanted to see if we could get 8-12 people to start a league this year. Preferably people just from this disney site.

If you guys set it up, count me in.

ESPN has a fantastic league system as well as NFL, and I think Yahoo is great. Only ones I don't care for is Fleaflicker and CBS.

I only use Yahoo Fantasy Football since Yahoo is my home page. I only sign up for standard leagues and would rather not invest additional money on fantasy sports so if there's any fee involved, count me out.

Despite being a diehard fan of the NFL, I have never played fantasy football.

Try it one season and you're hooked for life, you watch almost EVERY game.

But if you guys really want to do this we have to get the ball moving with a league set up and a draft date, its really really hard to get a draft date set for everyone this late in the game and will only get tougher. I also don't think it should be for money, if there are new players just trying out fantasy football for the first time asking them to pony up cash is rather classless.

And I prefer a PPR league if possible.

I'm just skeptical of it. Say I draft Adrian Peterson (which wouldn't happen unless I got the first pick anyway, but humor me), I don't want to have to cheer for him while he's playing the Packers (my favorite team). Same for anyone else who's playing the Packers. That would take away from the actual game experience, IMO.

In those cases I just don't look at my fantasy score for the whole game. Not seeing the numbers move helps me ignore that I have stock on the enemy.

Plus I didn't draft any players from teams I loathe the last few seasons. Just worked out that way.

Honestly, you don't really think about that.

You still have your favorite team but you want the players on your fantasy team to do well but it never crosses the line of making one feel guilty for rooting for a fantasy team member. Or that's how I feel about it. Iam a diehard Bears fan but I almost always take Aaron Rodgers as my QB because I know he's the best player in the league. It does nothing to my ego or my belief the Bears will beat him because no matter what, I know he's going to get his stats.

And that's what fantasy football is all about, stats.

Jimmy Thick- Have to get this ironed out quick...

Hey guys sorry I've been busy. But im down if you guys and gals want to start one.. Kinda limited on time, but maybe this Sunday, or some time next weekend we can do a draft?
Sounds good to me!
I know the league says, "Disney Dads" but will you allow someone who isn't a father like me to join?
I think that league is basically dead at this point
