We are underway with the new season!

So who are you supporting and who do you think is going to take the title this year? I'm a ManU fan, and I think we have a great chance again this year. From the opening weekend it looks like the usual suspects will be battling it out again.

This is like chewing razor blades for me...

The way things look now, I have it...

1. ManU, with the traitorous Van Persie leading the way.

2. Chelsea, not a big fan of Mourinho, but they have way to much talent to not compete for the title.

3. Tott... Totten... I can't bring myself to do it.
3. Man City, Pellegrini looks the real deal. They are playing a beautiful free flowing game now, and man, are they talented up front.

4. Tottenha, nope. Can't.
4. Arsenal, Wegner has to reinforce the squad. Right? Right??? RIGHT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

RVP has been a great buy for United. Seems Arsenal lost him just as he was peeking. Arsenal got off to a bad start at the weekend but looked good tonight in Europe.

I'm a huge Arsenal fan. It was a great result in the Champions League today and a much needed win after being embarrassed by Aston Villa. Still, I'm one of those people who are unhappy with the way the team is being run. Hopefully, this win will lead to new signings and they need new signings to help with depth. But boy, being an Arsenal fan is tough. You're always going through a vicious cycle of unhappiness, anger and calling for heads to roll one match. Then, having everything all good and fine the next.

Looks like we signed Flamini. Soooooooo, there's that.

Not even Flamini is enough to solve the problems for Arsenal. The backline is thin with Vermaelen out for several months, we need a goalkepper because Szczesny makes far too many easy mistakes and Fabianski isn't any better, another midfielder with the Ox out for three months and another striker. Basically, I think they need depth and new signings for every position.

Lots of chatter about Benzema, Di Maria, Cabaye, going on right now too. But after this summer of inaction, I'll believe it when I see them in an Arsenal kit, and not before.

If we haven't signed anyone by tomorrow evening, then drop points to Fulham, Arsene is going to be under more pressure then he has been at any point in his career.

Anyone watching ManU vs Chelsea? Very dull first half. Seems like nobody wants to lose more than they want to win.

So it's a guarantee for the Champions League group stage for Arsenal. Still no signings and with Podolski out for three weeks..no, check that, three months! :bawling: they need to act considering how strenuous the schedule is. Cabaye and Di Maria seem to be the biggest ones on the radar but nothing's been finished and time is running out. Looks Arsenal will wait til the 11th hour to sign a new player at this rate....

The way it's going I don't expect us to sign anyone of any impact. There are 12 fit senior players available for this weekends derby, Ramsey & Wilshire are both "healthy" but nursing knocks, and we are one front line injury away from playing Sanogo/Gnabry/Zelalam against Spurs. What is Wenger doing????

He's being stubborn. That's what he's doing. Any manager who claims that 4th place is a trophy is delusional no matter what. Gazidis and Kroenke are not completely off the hook either but for a club to charge the highest season tickets prices in the EPL for a team that hasn't won anything in 8 years (Soon to be nine for sure.) and has sold off their top players to their rivals, they're no justification behind charging that much. They're in the Group of Death in the Champions League while Spurs, Chelsea and Man City are spending like crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs win the North London derby this Sunday. There's clearly no motivation to spend the cash no matter what. His lame excuse will be that whatever player is returning from injury is a "new signing".

Today we have new Rumors regarding potential targets. It is all getting a bit frustrating, tomorrow we play Spurs with 12 fit outfield players. Inexcusable. If those 12 can manage to bail out Arsene tomorrow, and he really does land Cabaye, Draxler, and one of the Madrid boys, then the tide may turn back in his favor. If he lands no-one, and they lose at home to Spurs, the Emirates will become toxic, and I'm not sure even Wegner will be able to survive it.

Liverpool is doing great so far. Better than last year but it's only 3 game right now. They need to score more though and one person doing the majority of the scoring is not going to work the whole season.
