2012 Trip

We are thinking about staying at the Pop Century Valve Resort this year for our trip. We have stayed at All Stars Music,Movies and Sports and didn't know anything about Pop Century. How does anyone feel about staying there as opposed to the other Valve Resorts?

It's my family and I have stayed our last two trips and again coming up in May. I like it. I like that the bus is not shared with any other value. Wait times are minimal for busses. Even at the busy times of day we never waited longer than 15 minutes for a bus. Big food court, and several pool to choose from. Rooms are probably similar to other values.

Pop is newer.....and superior.
Price is usually the same, but it tends to sell out before the others.

I've stayed at all the All-Stars and Pop. We like Pop the best of the values because they don't share a bus. Otherwise, they are going to be pretty comparable. If you were comfortable at the All-Stars you'll like Pop

What about going from Pop to All-Star Sports? We have a 10 yr old and allowed him to pick the resort this year. We've stayed at POFQ, PORS, CBR, and POP in the past.

We know that the values do not compare to the moderates but how does All-Star Sports compare to Pop? Our 10 yr old is an athlete; baseball, football and basketball.

We spend most of our time in the parks so we have been trying to try different resorts but we're hoping the bus issue is not a major concern?

Pop is the best value resort, by far.

It's newer, there are fewer kids, the food court is superior to any other food court on the property, let alone the values, and it always has its own bus.

I love Pop! We are staying there again this June. I am wondering if Pop guests will be able to share pools with Art of Animation? It will be nice if so, even if we can only visit their new food court, although Pop's is great.

POP or bust for us!!! :ROFLOL: Have been to WDW four times and stayed at Pop all four times. So although I can't really compare it to any of the other Value Resorts, I can say that we like it enough to not even want to try any of the others. :shrug:

Love the accommodations, love the fact that you don't have to share a bus (although they can get crowded during Peak season and the bus stops are always WAY at the end), love the cafeteria menu and store in their dining area, and love the pools! In summary...my family and I are all HUGE Pop fans!

Ditto. And better location on Disney property too. We far preferred Pop to ASMovies.

Haven't been to the others, but we stayed at Pop and love it. We're booking there again this June.

Stayed at all the values. Pop by faaaarrr is the best. Will not stay anywhere else. Not saying the All Stars are poor, there not. Pop just newer and fresher to us. March 2, here we come!!!
